How to self-exclude from Underdog
Underdog lets you exclude for 1, 3, 5 or 10 years or lifetime. Closing your account is not a block — it can be reopened with ID.
Where to find it
Account tab (person icon, top right) > Responsible Gaming Limits > toggle to 'Exclusion' > choose length > Save. Web: underdogsports.com/account/responsible-gaming-limits/self-exclusion. Pennsylvania users are directed to the PGCB list at pgcb.pa.gov/SelfExclusion.
Before you do it: withdraw your balance and let open bets or positions settle. Once you’re excluded you may not be able to move money.
Your options
Timeout / cool-off (short break — ends on its own)
- Cool-Off: 3 days, 7 days, 30 days, 3 months, 6 months, or 9 months (Account > Preferences > Responsible Gaming Limits > Cool-Off)
Self-exclusion (the real block)
- 1 year
- 3 years
- 5 years
- 10 years
- Lifetime
A timeout is a pause. If you’re here because betting is causing harm, choose self-exclusion — and your state’s list on top of it.
Does it cover their other apps and other states?
. The RG resources page describes tools for fantasy contests only; no page found stating whether an Underdog exclusion also blocks Underdog Sportsbook or Underdog Predict. Underdog is a founding member of the idPair national DFS self-exclusion (Mar 10, 2026), which offers extending the exclusion to PrizePicks, Dabble and Splash Sports.
Rebranded Underdog Fantasy -> Underdog Sports. Offers fantasy pick'em/best ball, a state-licensed sportsbook in some states, and 'Underdog Predict' (CFTC-regulated prediction markets, legal center at legal.underdogpredict.com). Missouri AG sent Underdog (and Kalshi, Polymarket, Crypto.com, Novig, Robinhood) a cease-and-desist on Sep 18, 2026 over prediction markets.
Does your state’s list reach Underdog?
RG page lists state resources for AZ, CO, MD, NY, PA and references the 'PA Self-Exclusion Fantasy Contests' list. Coverage by each state's general sports-betting list: per state.
Your balance and open bets
You are signed out immediately. Unsettled contests settle normally. Remaining balance can be claimed by contacting customer support, except in Pennsylvania where all winnings awarded during the self-exclusion period are forfeited. After a cool-off, contact support to be paid winnings.
Can it be undone early?
Self-exclusion cannot be removed; no access until it expires. Cool-off cannot be undone; account re-enables automatically at the end.
Does the marketing stop?
(not stated in Underdog help articles; PA list requires operators to block promotional communications).
Deposit limits and closing the account
Self-set deposit/entry limits under Responsible Gaming Limits. State-mandated caps noted: Massachusetts $1,000/month, Maryland $5,000/month, Tennessee $2,500/month.
Close via support in app; closing does not let you create a new account, BUT a closed account can be reopened by submitting ID + selfie. Use self-exclusion, not closure, if the goal is a block.
Who to contact
Support via help.underdogsports.com / in-app chat; support email obfuscated on page . Helpline listed: 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), NCPG, 24/7.
The gaps people miss
- Short cool-off (3 days-9 months) is not self-exclusion; account unlocks automatically.
- Closing an account is reversible with ID; it is not a block.
- Unclear whether excluding from Underdog fantasy also blocks Underdog Sportsbook and Underdog Predict (prediction markets): ask support to confirm all products in writing.
- A state sportsbook self-exclusion usually does not reach Underdog pick'em or Underdog Predict.
- Pennsylvania: winnings during exclusion are forfeited.
The Betting Firewall
This is one wall. You need five.
No single block holds on its own. A state list does nothing about offshore sites or the money in your checking account; an app exclusion does nothing about the next app. Stack all five.
